Whats the most bowls you can eat at Olive Garden? There is a special of all you can eat pasta. I ate 2 bowls but damnit if I didn't fill up on bread sticks and salad first. I asked the woman what was the most bowls she ever brought out. She told me 2. 2? Come on got to be some heavy eaters out there.

A good rule of thumb is that if a restaurant advertises "all you can eat" and they are still making money, chances are their food sucks.

And this applies here.

You will get no love for the Olive Garden on this board. Delete while there is still time.

A good rule is that anytime a restaurant describes a menu item by its container it SUCKS!!!

Bowl, skillet, etc..

I have a friend that claims Olive Garden as her favorite restaurant. I have to bite my tongue because I don't consider it a bona fide restaurant.

I know Olive garden is not Emerils, Comanders, or some other nice place that many of you claim to only eat at. But when you are ruuning around all day with the wife and kids and looking for a place to eat before the football game comes on I do think Olive Garden is better than Micky Ds. Sorry I didn't spend 250 on a dinner.

In your defense, in the siegan lane area your choices are crap, crap, and crap. That area is a chain food wasteland.

Hooters
Canes
Whataburger
Olive Garden
Chee Burger, Chee Burger
McDonalds
TacoBell
Chili's
Sicily's

That's a pretty shitty selection

Who the frick eats at COmmander's every night? For my dollar, I would rather hit a bunch of other places before Olive Garden in the situation you presented. But if one chooses Olive Garden, thats cool, they can do whatever they want...personally I would try my best not to.

I dont know where you are that your only choices are McDonalds and Olive Garden.

If all you're concerned with is cost and convenience, go buy a jar of halfway decent supermarket pasta sauce and boil your own pasta.

In 10 minutes, you'll get something just as good, if not better than olive garden, for a lot cheaper, as well.
