It's obviously in demand enough for them to make this a flagship.

I think a lot of the beer nerd/special release crowd forgets that the vast majority of beer drinkers aren’t chasing hopped up WC or hayze boi IPAs, or strawberry vanilla 12% chocolate chip cookie stouts.

Especially in Louisiana, breweries need a flagship that everyone will drink, specifically to capture those who still want something more similar to a Bud/Coors easy drinker. Parish Canebrake and Strawberry Canebrake, Abita Amber and Strawberry and Bayou Teche Ragin Cajun are three that come to mind.

Also, while Gnarly seems to be killing it with Juicifer demand, I wonder if that Lion Up beer is also a good seller for them, since it’s something your non-craft enthusiast should be able to enjoy.

Lion Up

I’ve see it a lot on shelves even though it is supposed to be brewed around football season. Fresh it is an excellent beer. Hard for me to keep in rotation with so many great beers though.

It's really the only Abita I drink these days, so I'll allow it.

StrawGator or a Barney (Purple Haze & Andygator) are my favorite beer mixes.

When I went to the Abita brewery many years ago, they their Vanilla Turbodog out and it was amazing.

Great news for me as it’s probably my favorite from Abita. Just picked up two of those 19oz cans this afternoon.

It's hot from March to November. Might as well sell it year around.

Just pretend it's seasonal then and only drink it during that time of the year

And save us the whining fest

Wait so you’re mad that a beer you enjoy is now available year-round?

Also, Turbodog will always be my GOAT
