Dammit, I had high hops that they'd make it.

I went once and they sold single beers at a way higher rate than Dorignac’s, then Total Wine came in and had beer even cheaper. Their gimmick was to buy a beer or two and drink it there, unfortunately it was a shitty place to sit and drink beer.

The prices were pretty much the same and Dorignacs has a way smaller single selection.

I went a few times when it first opened but the area was so sketchy I really didn’t feel comfortable in there.

Hate to see it but not surprised. I'd go get a growler filled there a couple times a year.

The proliferation of breweries with family-friendly hangout spaces basically killed all of these types of beer/shop hybrids.

Poor business model & even worse location. I think they thought Tulane would explode with the hospital

It had a few things going but then they all fizzled out.

I swear some of y'all are literally terrified of black people.

It was a good place, at one time, to put together a six pack of assorted beers and try new things. No other bottle shop in NOLA was close in terms of selection. When they rebooted a few months ago, they carried less than a third of the beer they'd had before, and basically tried to turn itself into a bar with 10 - 12 taps. Too much competition for that.
