It's a corner grocery with people sitting outside it playing loud music. I certainly paid attention to my surroundings as I do most places in NOLA but it never kept me from going to 504 Reserve.

I'm not talking about the neighborhood behind it. I'm talking about the apartments, halfway housing, assisted living, shelters adjacent to 504 on Tulane toward downtown.

If you parked in the back lot it was completely fine and it wouldn't stop me from going but there was continuous vagrants, prostitutes, crackheads, etc... always milling up and down Tulane going to and fro.

I probably popped in once a month for a beer or growler fill. As others have said, terrible location. Open that place in Metairie and it thrives. Metairie/Kenna brah need a beer place. Lagers and the short lived World of Beer were all that area had.

Yep I had no reason to be in that area to find beer I can find at many other places in the city. If it was down Carrollton toward City Park I bet it wouldn’t have closed. Most people want nothing to do with Tulane Ave.
