Earlier today I put a pot of a sixteen bean soup on with a big ol' smoked turkey leg for the smoke and the meat.
So at the moment I am waiting for us to enjoy the soup and enjoying a damn good cocktail.

Served and thoroughly enjoyed!!
The green stuff is spinach.
Has some smoked ham in there too.

Not calling you a liar but there are way more than 16 beans in that soup

With the weather finally breaking we'll be doing this soon. Normally add ham hocks for the smoke flavor and meat. Intrigued by the turkey leg for additional protein. Looks great.

I JUST put this on my menu for Halloween week. My greens will be collards.
Yours looks incredible. Especially for this weather.

Is that one of those pre-packed bean soup kits that come in a bag or is it your own recipe? If so could you post it? Looks awesome. May be on the menu tonight.

My wife likes those 16-bean soup packs. My only problem with such legume diversity is that some beans are done before others. To get all of them done, some will be mushy. It can still be good but I'd rather stick to one or two similar types of beans.
