Heard that Giles Island has been for sale for about a year or so. The asking price is quite large as one might expect...may be discounted now. Sad to see for sure.

Yeah i was just curious if the area is seeing any back side flooding from the Morganza or Red River.
I have seen the back side of Black Hawk get pretty deep and the rivers weren't running anywhere near this high. It would be catastrophic for them as their operation is high fence.

It's owned by the Bancrofts. They are mega loaded and mega assholes. They sold their Mexican villa to Mel Gibson.

Where they have the deer pen at, it has ALOT of backwater in it from the Old River Structure. The deer are all up to the fence by the levee.
