I'm really just spitballing to put some ideas in people's heads…it's obvious everyone wants some rule changes, I just want to make sure we hit all angles.

I wish Karma and LE were around…i know LE agrees with me about trading for picks is cheap, and karma is a against selling out being too rewarding.

And I'm not just continuing to talk shite about Les, but Les agrees with whatever suits him best at the moment. If you don't think that is the case just see his 180 on 10 keepers v. 12 keepers in TDBL. Karma is damn near the same way.

Knat may be a lot of shite, but he is usually consistent IMO.

I traded all my picks and even I agree it's cheap.

At least it'll win me $100

I also like the challenge next year presents

ive been reading. Not that it is really unfair. But it's pretty easy to add good players to your team the way some teams sell out so quickly. So yes definitely cheap in a sense.

The only thing I see working and not being too complicated is games per week limit. We can vote on that before next season.

or we can leave the amount of players in the active lineup the same.

but expand bench by 3 or 4. That way people will have options on the bench, wouldnt have to stream, and if they did stream, there would be nothing on the waiver wire

That sounds a lot better than keeping up with games played and how to penalize for too many games and get ESPN to work within those parameters.

it just may increase the trading of draft picks though. more roster space for bad teams to add players

I like this. I'm not a fan of the game cap, simply b/c there's more weeks than not I set my shite on friday at work and check back in on Monday.

I also think that would increase the motivation of picks for players.

It'd be nice to find a medium. Trades this year like Griffin for a 1st. I think every contending team would have taken that deal. NOBes just happened to be the first one to mccain.

Even say adding 2 bench spots to each team. That's 24 players out of the player pool. That is pretty significant.

Could the same thing be accomplished if you added two "DL/IR" spots?

I think this would help both contenders and sellers, and make both more competitive.

ESPN has this option and polices it, so it'd be easy to add.

Duncan is still a keeper imo. Didn't expect him to continue to play this way.

I personally think that expanding the bench will just make the waiver wire and fa pool less interesting.

The selling out for picks is a problem, but doing away with the trading of draft picks would fundamentally.change this league in a way I don't think I'd feel comfortable with.

I'm fine with all of these convo but all of my aims are at making the league more competitive from start to finish, and making the game more fun for players. I will be open to any and all ideas that accomplish these goals.

As for me being inconsistent, I think I've always been consistent with regard t not rewarding teams for losing, and being able to keep your keepers that you want to keep and not have to trade them due to injury

The standings are so close...If Knat can find a way to finish 8-0 vs Redd, and Rick and Karma stay at 7-1, Rick and Knat would make the playoffs because they both beat Karma 5-3.
