Playing the top scorer every week...

It has made this season really unenjoyable. 3-6 and 2-7 with points against lead by a mile.
Not fun being the anomaly...unless of course you're the guy playing the low scorer every week.
Shoutout to top half in points getting a win...will propose that next year.

I don't agree with that scoring simply because it's not representative of the way the NFL decides the outcomes of the games. I realize it's a little different because different teams have better defenses than others. Just prefer head to head.

Just do wild card playoff spots that go to teams that score the most

who does this? I couldn't find a single format that allows the Top 50% get a W the Bottom 50% get an L.
Yahoo, if you changed to "points" it's just who has the most at the end of the season, wins

The commish has to edit the matchups at the end of each week
It's as easy as matching a top half team vs a bottom half team

I say H2H for the first 4 playoff spots then 2 wildcard spots for the top scoring teams left after the 1-4 seeds have been determined by the H2H results.

yep, it's bullshite. this is the last year i play in a H2H league. Im commish of a league where I'm constantly 1st or 2nd in PF and I'm gonna be 4-5 after today. Crock of fricking bullshite

Top 6 bottom 6 just doesn't sound like as much fun to me. Half the appeal of FF is playing the 1 on 1 matchups.
Plus it takes away a lot of the head to head strategy with waiver pick ups, start/sits ect

The only head to head strategy is the occasional pickup to frick over your opponent....but those opportunities are very rare imo.
It's mostly setting your team then hoping your opponent doesn't go nuts.

It's that ×11. In tdfl there are usually 5-6 people fighting for the last 2 spots going into Sunday / Monday night.
In regular head to head most teams have already locked it up by then. You also have to deal with teams checking out/not caring.
Top 6 is much more competitive. You'll realize that 1 head to head matchup was pretty lame.
