Before Week 1, I signed Bernard Pierce for the sole purpose of using him for weeks 1 and 2 then dropping him once Rice returned. Unfortunately, in week 1, Justin Forsett totally outplayed him. Pierce fumbled on his 6th attempt and pretty much didn't see the field after that while Forsett ran for 80+ yards.

Should I hold on to Pierce through week 2 to see if he see's the field or should I drop him and add Forsett now? My luck, if I do that, Pierce will blow up in week 2 and someone else will scoop him. Any thoughts?

Neither. Just means Flacco is going to throw it 70 times a game.

28 of 72 for 261 yards, 1 TD and 5 INT

Thats what I thought about, but I don't really have the available roster spot.

I guess I could release Anquan Boldin...

I have the same situation on my FF team. I'm keeping Pierce. He'll eventually get his touches. Forsett is a journeyman RB and Pierce will be used a lot for goal line/ short yardage TD's like he was in pre season.

I really don't know shite about either of them. I just signed Pierce because he was supposed to get the majority of the touches while Rice was out.

i added both. Going to see how it plays out this weekend and then decide which to drop.

I thihnk Forsett will start and if he does ok will keep the job. If he sucks, maybe a RBBC.

Forsett had 11 car, 71 yds, 1 Td, 5 rec, 14 yds (6 targets)- 15 total touches
Pierce had 6 car, 14 yds, 0 targets.

Pierce was benched for fumbling. It was his first career fumble

ESPN's @jamisonhensley said on SportsCenter that Justin Forsett "looks to be the starter" for #Ravens at RB entering Week 2 vs. #Steelers.

Taliaferro > Pierce long term

Drafted to fit the scheme and looked the best in preseason. Forsett and complimentary piece

Short term: Forsett, Taliaferro/Pierce.

Long term: Taliaferro, 2015 pick.

I wonder if John will pick up LaMichael...

Pure speculation, but they like LT a lot. Pierce has shown what he can do and is a leftover from the old system. Forsett has shown what he can do, he's a career backup.

It may be cloudy for a few weeks but LT could emerge. Or it could just be a timeshare where no one benefits. But if you're adding, don't you want the highest upside? I just don't see it w the leftover guys.
