ESPN Bottom Line shows Field Yates is reporting that NE is expecting to resign Demaryious Thomas after releasing him.

If ya got Watson’s arrow up it means you think Stills has an impact. Doesn’t really matter who is better

Still can play inside and out. Fuller and coutee value derived from heavy target share namely while one of them was hurt. Stills gonna muddy that up if they’re all healthy

Yeah it’ll muddy it up. They had serious injury concerns with both guys.

Fuller is already coming off an ACL that’s not even a year old. He’s also put up serious numbers despite only posting a 57% catch rate. Lotta volume almost predominantly down field. He’s a fade for me

Stills is the same type of athlete as Fuller and hasn’t sniffed a QB like Watson in awhile. He’s gonna do some things in HOU

I got Watson’s arrow up bc he just went from a sub par left tackle to one of the best in the league

Depth at WR doesn’t hurt though considering Fuller and Coutee have been injured

Former Bills’ RB LeSean McCoy is reuniting with Chiefs HC Andy Reid, per source. McCoy getting a one-year, $4 million deal that includes $3 million guaranteed from the Chiefs.

Sure is loosey

I know he was released by one of the worst teams in the league but this has to hurt Damien pain train does it not?

He’s definitely a shell of his former self but all I’ve heard is Damien/Darwin all preseason. This just insurance purposes?

Great landing spot but what will he do with?

at least he won't be keyed on as much like he was in Buffalo.

#Chiefs guaranteed merely $1.6 million to Damien Williams when he inked his two-year extension in December. 31-year-old LeSean McCoy was just guaranteed $3 million by the same front office off the street. Not ideal.

The Chiefs wanted someone that could come in and be a good backup to Williams IMO. $3 million guaranteed was just the going rate. Other teams wanted McCoy as well. Chiefs weren’t worried about money, they’re trying to win a SB

McCoy is gonna get a lot of work in this offense. I’ve been fading Williams and getting Darwin in every league, but McCoy really kills the Darwin hype. McCoy is really going to muddy up this backfield. Thompson will be third in the pecking order and Williams isn’t going to be some massive workload back.

IMO McCoy and Williams will be in a 50/50 split. There touches will ebb and flow depending on script and game flow, but both will likely end up in the 10-12 touches per games range.

Edit: for week 1 I agree Williams will be the go to back, as time goes on McCoy will eat into that workload

This is my thought as well.

Damien hasn’t proven he can carry a backfield for a season. This is insurance for that.

He’ll get some touches, but honestly don’t see it hurting Damien’s share more than a few a game imo.

If anything he’ll clean up late in games when they are protecting leads.

But McCoy has proven he can be a stud in Reid’s system. Maybe Williams is the insurance here. $3 mil is $3 mil. They could’ve just kept Carlos Hyde if they were interested in backup insurance. They’ve been hyping Darwin all offseason

And yea, exactly, they’re trying to win a SB, hence the signing of McCoy

Reid doesn’t employ backfield timeshares. I see him giving McCoy first crack at evaluating from there
