Two things we bitch about most: living in Louisiana and politics

Why not move to Pennsylvania like Pressler did?

Why not move to Wisconsin, Michigan, or North Carolina? Hell, even Texas is going to be a good one to gain a few conservative votes soon.

Two birds, one stone - you get out of Louisiana and you get to bring your republican votes to a state where they'll go further.

I've honestly contemplated this before and I think if I ever do it, it'll be Texas or western Pennsylvania.

Because as much as our summers down here suck, winters up there are worse

I could see myself in North Carolina before the rust belt. As fun as Philly’s punk scene would be for me, winters would suck.

The women are uglier in Northern states! Maybe Arizona but not PA, MI

Sitting in a hunting stand in the snowfall is awesome. You can trek in the mud for a few birds

Why not both?

Summers up north, winters in LA.

Vote in both. Not like anybody checks for that anyway.

Yea I get that completely but I could easily see myself retiring there. Build a nice house with a huge fireplace on a rural plot of land with lots of trees. My wife and I would grow old together under a blanket in front of a fire while I read murder mysteries and she reads her whorehouse smut books getting her all worked up for me to short dick her until we both die.

I spend too much time in Pennsylvania as it is. If you think LA is depressing, I have real bad news for you about rural Pennsylvania.

Especially in the winter.

Winters in PA aren't bad. Wisconsin and Michigan yeah they're bad. Obviously North Carolina is pretty mild as well.

It's basically a purple state now, and an important one to boot because of all it's population growth.

I love mountains and hate Great Lakes winters. I just can’t seem to find work, in Louisiana or anywhere else for that matter. At least in Louisiana, my good ol’ boy network is strong and COL is super low so I can survive being severely under employed. In Louisiana, I can get by making under $40k a year. To replicate that lifestyle anywhere else would likely require $100k or more.

They call us dumb, but Louisiana will be solid red tonight. Bigly. Many bigly blue states out there. Now that's dumb in this day and age.

I brought my GOP vote to Illinois. At least it helps in my county.

This is the best way to deal with the national elections

1,000 Louisiana voters head to Georgia or Pennsylvania .

If you have the money, just go buy a small place there and change residency

The Northwoods of WI are awesome. Thousands of lakes, forest, great small towns, some of the friendliest people you'll meet. I actually hated winter in Chicago because I got the disgusting gray icy version of it, but Up North winters are pretty fun...cross country skiing, ice fishing, hunting, snowmobiling...pretty much anything outdoors you can enjoy. It's funny rolling through a small town and seeing the bar parking lot filled with snowmobiles
