Fulton county is 86% reporting. Clayton County is 95% reporting. I think those are the two most "urban" counties around Atlanta.

It's the film industry.

This is a big part.

So is the number of companies moving their HQ to the state. Bring in out of.staters from blue states who continue to vote blue.

I'm hoping that with some of the Asian companies moving in that they will bring conservative Asian voters with them. But in the case of KIA in West Point, most of their middle and upper management live across the river in Alabama.

A lot of blue state migrants are fleeing here for the film industry. People have no idea how many libs are flocking to Atlanta in droves with the false hopes of being the next "Spielberg" or "Jennifer Anniston".

What kills me is that they’re willing to put the country in jeopardy over something that being left up to the state they live in.

I even saw an interview with Trump saying he was ok with abortion up to 16 weeks and for incest, rape and the health of the mother but Dems did nothing but push a Trump nationwide abortion ban and these idiots bought it.

No, but we have had a shitload of Haitians dumped in South Georgia around the new Hyundai plant. People are not happy about it.

They also bark about it like trained seals. I don't think all that many of them have actually sat down and considered a more in-depth inquiry of the matter.

The Ross Douthat op-ed from last month really clarified things, I thought.

What Do Liberals Believe About Late-Term Abortion?
quote:

But the most charitable reading is that she (Harris) meant to express the common pro-choice talking points that later-term abortions are, first, vanishingly rare, and second, typically only obtained in situations where there’s a significant danger to the mother or a late-discovered fetal anomaly.

However, the second talking point is incorrect. Last year, The Atlantic’s Elaine Godfrey interviewed a Colorado doctor who performs later-term abortions: He estimated that about half his patients have healthy pregnancies. A 2013 paper looking at the universe of abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy found that “most women seeking later terminations are not doing so for reasons of fetal anomaly or life endangerment.”

Meanwhile the first belief, that these procedures are vanishingly rare, turns on the question of what “rare” means. Relative to other abortions, yes, late-term procedures are extremely rare: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that 1 percent of American abortions take place at or after 21 weeks, which, by my calculation, would be slightly under 10,000 out of slightly under one million.

On the other hand, relative to other causes of childhood death that liberals take extremely seriously, thousands of late-term abortions loom quite large. The C.D.C. reports that in total around 30,000 American children up to age 14 died of natural and unnatural causes in 2022. If you included late-term abortion in those numbers, it would instantly be a leading cause of childhood death.

Yep. Shenanigans too.

It drives me crazy that it's the same places pulling the same shite.

How the frick did they have 4 years and STILL can't count votes timely?

It's unAmerican what they do, but they will cry about muh democracy.

Georgia is 34% black; the country is 13%. Atlanta no longer recognizes a Southern accent.

Not only that. In some of the wilder corners of the internet - but still quasi-mainstream - the meme was pushed that Trump would be banning ALL BIRTH CONTROL.

Yankees! Here in East Cobb, always was a very strong Republican area, is now blue!

Our neighbor has shifted in 20 years from original homeowners to a huge influx of nothing but Yankees and Jews
