The country is majority left, millions have TDS, and yet the republican party might take the Presidency AND both houses of congress.

I'm still in shock a bit. And very happy. This country might survive afterall.

She honestly wasn't even a candidate. She was installed. Like a toilet.

I don’t think the country is majority left, I think independents broke for Trump at a high rate, and he won the popular vote

She, Biden and all of their policies were and are open goat arse that has rotted in the sun for days.

It’s that simple.

Democrats love shooting themselves in the foot. They all knew she's horrible, but they were too afraid of the racist label that they handed her the nomination instead of having a race.

Not as bad as Dukakis, Mondale, Dole, or McCain.

One of the worst I can remember. Routinely flubbed softball interviews, sounded like she was regurgitating nonsensical talking points, did not do one interview where the questions were not known ahead of time, had moderators fact checking her opponent in debates and still managed to get trounced, etc.

We don't even really know, because they hid her in a basement for 4 months.

Terrible. But Democrats should have known that. She didn't even make it to the first primary in 2020.

I glad they ran her. This election could have been way worse with a better candidate.

But we were told that that candidate didn't matter that people were motivated by voting against Trump. They told us that's how Biden got 81 million votes.

In 2020, if we assume numbers are accurate, Biden received 81.2 million votes. Harris in 2024, at 88% in, has 66.2 million votes. Let's say she add another 12% in line with her current total would finsih about 74.5 million. She will finish with more than 6,000,000 fewer votes than Biden.

Trump will likely finish at about 79 million votes which would be about 4.5 million more votes than 2020.

The American electorate was 1% greater this go around, so one has to assume about three million people switched their vote and Trump added another million while one million moved to third party or did not vote for either.

Heard a story on NPR this morning about how "Kamala just didn't have long enough to introduce herself to the voters". Delusional. The problem is people figured out exactly who she was.

She was an awful candidate.

She was the least liked vice president in history.

They went from her being an anchor for now biden to being the hip girl.

It was all fake.
