Rumors that Nancy Pelosi days are coming to an end as House Minority Leader

'Restlessness' among House Democrats, conference call described as a 'group therapy session'
Per Fox News' Chad Pergram:
House Democrats held a caucus wide conference call this afternoon to discuss the election results. Fox News is told there was little chatter about blame or recriminations as Democrats are reeling from last night’s results.
“It was like a group therapy session,” said one source on the call, noting the sadness.
Overall, Fox is told that the mood among Congressional Democrats is reminiscent of 1994 when Democrats…stunningly…lost control of the House to Republicans for the first time in 42 years.
But,another source said that there is “restlessness in the troops.” Fox is told that off the call some Democrats were quietly asking questions if it was time for House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., to go, considering the fact that Democrats only secured six to seven House seats when a net gain of 12 seats was going to be a “bad” night for the party.
“People are asking ‘When is enough enough?’” said one source. “There is tension in this caucus.”
But Fox is told there is not active effort to dump Pelosi nor any indication that she wants to leave. Anyone who would challenge Pelosi would get beaten as she still commands wide support in the caucus and is a prolific fundraiser. Plus, Democrats know they want someone experienced to stand and fight Trump. President Obama’s term is nearly complete. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, is retiring. They want a steady hand to combat Trump.
“If we don’t stick together, we’re going to kill each other,” said one Democratic source on the call.
Fox News is told some Democrats expressed anger with the party, saying that some members of the caucus “feel the way some of the voters felt.”
However,Democrats are struggling about what to do.
“(The results) are not anything anybody did. No one in the House has any responsibility,” said a source.

The amazing part is that she didn't get tossed about two or three cycles ago.
Most leaders who continually lose major engagements tend to be put out to pasture so that new leadership can take a crack at it.
She, OTOH, has kept a death grip on the Dem caucus with Hoyer as #2 and Clyburn as #3 despite an inability to work with the opposition or come up with a campaign plan to regain the House.

Democrats are realizing they're alienating independents by moving left the way Republicans did moving right with the Neocons. GOP is 100% the party of moderation right now, and they nominated Trump for crying out loud.

This has been rumored for a while. Nancy is no spring chicken and even with Hillary winning she would still be fighting an uphill battle in a heavily GOP House and with a majority GOP Senate.
I'll be thrilled when she gets her "we have to pass the bill before we can find out what's in it" arse out of Congress. If she'll just take that steaming pile of shite Reid with her...

the Rams are finally firing Jeff Fisher?
seriously... the DEM situation has only gotten worse since she was House Speaker during BO's 1st term... yet she always kept her leadership position... even after the Tea Party flood that pushed the GOP into the majority after the (not-so) Affordable Care Act
