Had to reactivate my FB account for this news.

First thing I see when I get on the old Facebook account..

We are about to succeed the first black president of the United States of America with a man endorsed by the KKK. fricking speechless.
I'm truly terrified for the future of my family. I'm terrified for my children. I'm terrified for all people of color. I'm terrified for my fellow members of the LGBTQ community. I'm terrified for women. I'm terrified for muslims. I'm terrified for all minorities in this country.
We may have lost this battle, but we must remember - love always wins

Today sounds like an excellent day to deactivate Facebook forever.

It has evolved into a relentless, tireless, and immature rant for any topic under the sun over the past few years. I don't have the app on my phone anymore....

What kind of stupid is that. Trump isn't against Blacks, women or muslims. He's against terrorists. Dems don't know the difference.

I'm looking forward to a President who will call a terrorist a terrorist.

This is who we chose to make America "great"? This says so much about us as a country. The world is watching. It's embarrassing. I want to find it hard to believe that the majority of Americans are racist, homophobic, sexist, misogynist, xenophobic, hateful idiots but that's what's shining through bright and clear. I'm hoping I'm wrong. I've never wanted to be wrong about someone so bad in my life before. I hope he proves me wrong. This is not the America I'm proud to call home. This is everything we've worked so hard to change. I'm terrified as a woman to see what the next 4 years will bring. I can't imagine what other minorities are feeling.

Well, America, let the Pussy grabbing commence!
A little over 1/2 of our citizens elected this nut-bag, and now he truly is a "Star".
Prepare yourself to be violated.

Post from a friend and patriot :

First gross comment already stated...
"This vote concerns me that 50% of the country hates muslims and people of color " - Van Jones
What an a-hole

Response from one of his low energy friends:
quote:

How is he an a-hole? Have you not watched the news or listened to Trump? EVERY frickING CHANCE HE GETS, he's accusing blacks of trying to rig the election. And he's gotten the country paranoid of Muslims. I don't have my Muslim neighbours trying to force me into Islam. I can't say that about my a-hole christian neighbours

I don't think I can fully process this evening and election. It has been horribly traumatizing to read the sexist, racist, and xenophobic comments made by Trump and his VP. To read of my family proudly telling me they voted for this man. To know that so many in my country, one I truly do love and want the best for, support someone with so much hate in their heart.

To say this has been hard is putting it lightly. I woke up at 3am to watch the results come in and woke up to shock. I sat on the phone with my mother for 3 hours sobbing in sadness and disappointment. Disappointment in my country. Disappointment in my family.

Trump has said he can unite this country, but how can you unite it when you earned votes by supporting hate?

I'm starting to get angry.

I know that there has been progress made by so many great movements in the past years. That so many of my friends have been fighting the good fight for equality and justice and we can not stop. In these hardships we will define who we are.

I read online someone saying that tomorrow they will wake up and keep trying to do good. That you don't have to vote on being a good person, just be one in your actions.

We need keep doing good and fighting for the causes we believe in to make sure we live in the world we want. One ruled not by hate, but love.

quote:

It's been a long, sleepless, anxiety-filled night spent crying to my dog. I've come to a few conclusions:

EDUCATION: it has never been so abundantly clear and painfully obvious that we need to invest in education.

JOBS: if you or anyone you know is worried about job security due to the certain economic instability we are now facing, I promise I will do my best to help. List me as a reference on applications, and/or let me know if I can help you in any way.

HEALTHCARE: if you are worried about coverage because Obamacare is basically over, and need to find a job you don't want, but NEED, in order to provide for yourself and your family, let me know if I can be a reference.

Look out for one another, do what you can, and lift each other up.

Smile at strangers, support small business, SPEAK UP to injustice.

Perhaps most importantly: Keep innovating. Pragmatism will be paramount moving forward, but never lose sight of idealism and creativity. Keep trying to make the world a better place.

These are more subtle melts. I just love the combination of being overly dramatic while still being up on their high horse.

If you're a democrat and you're literally in fear of Trump than you really are an idiot and have fallen for the MSM scare tactics worse than I could've imagined.

Funny how they try and make a talking point out of somethings most Trump supporters didn't even care about. But, even if that had a factor in his election, maybe that says more about people fighting back against that mix breed Kenyan they wanted to put so much Hope into
