No, Cruz won't exit the Senate right now. Maybe down the line, but he won't be the first selection. If Ginsburg or Thomas retires, then maybe Cruz would be considered.

based on Cruz's reputation in the Senate, he would probably get unanimous confirmation approval just so the other Senators don't have to deal with him anymore.
