We've been championing Brexit 2.0 for a while. Not over yet, but this is still a Brexit 2.0 event even if he loses at this point

Yeah, it's a little jarring to see it coming to fruition in real time, but the idea was out there. I'm a little more worried about his potential cabinet than I am he himself. I'd also like to see Ryan and Mitch take more of a stand against him if he gets too out of hand.

But if you're on the Joint Chiefs, what are you thinking right now?

Mitch is useless. I think Ryan will actually prove to be a pretty solid tool for Trump if they can reconcile. Trump is a lot closer to Ryan than he is the Freedom Caucus in ideology.

I'm not a Trumpkin either, but god damn the liberal media was so fricking obtuse. The zeitgeist was Trumps. Clinton fricked over Sanders, effectively killing any enthusiasm.

I'm guessing you are hoping Trump listens to you.

of the smug fricking attitudes of the goddamn DEMs, esp those in the major media

that's what's going to make the melt so real

the inevitable melts on either side were the only redeeming quality of this election

but the melt is ALREADY real, friend

He's going to put a fiscally conservative economic team together, reduce regulatory risk and lower taxes (if he sticks to his plans to date). We may have the first 3%+ economy since we graduated college.

I hope so. Curious to see if he can get NAFTA repealed and what that'll do to markets. I'm more worried about his FP. He's got much more unilateral power there and hat makes me nervous.

I think he would be hands on on economy and trade and delegate heavily on FP.
