Really? Conservatives want higher taxes, nationalized healthcare, more gun laws, etc?

We've traded security for liberty. You know how that ends up.

People hate idiots and trump is an idiot.

That's why he will lose.

Nobody said he was the answer. Nobody knows anything. We just want to try something new and see how it goes. Hillary is a globalist with a horrible track record. We've already seen what she can do with her wars in Iraq, Syria, Libya, etc. Her track record is a disgrace.

I didn't say Trump was the answer to all our problems. I'm saying that what Hillary wants to do is completely against American values.

The candidate promoting himself as the candidate of Law and Order cannot at the same time be proclaimed to be the candidate of Freedom. Those are contradictory ideas.

progs don't want freedom

they want to restrict freedom to shift behaviors, property, etc around to do their best to equate outcomes. they have done a great PR job of spinning this into "freedom" when it's the opposite

always remember, freedom breeds inequality (buckley)

You have to have laws. It's not like the founding fathers said "Ok! You're free to go rape, pillage, and plunder wherever you wish!" When this country was started.

Read Escape from Freedom by Erich Fromm.
Some people say the first thing that truly free people do is to vote away their freedom

So you are in fact for restrictions on freedom. Most people are. You, just like the people you're criticizing, like the freedoms that you like and dislike the freedoms you don't like. Your 2nd item in your OP was restricting the freedom to enter and leave the country without the government's permission. You don't love freedom more than anyone else. You just like different freedoms.

Progs don't care

this is why they will attack the ideals of our constitution as antiquated and/or as a symbol of oppression (white privilege, the patriarchy, etc)

they've won the PR war because the GOP was too worried courting the extreme religious demos and punishing social liberties (which make them unpopular AND hypocrites)

most people i know who REALLY do want more freedom (aka, less government) are just as, if not more, freaked out at the GOP and its constituents/policies

trump really didn't tell me much that would make me feel like he's any different than any other authoritarian that the electorate loves so much

We pride ourselves on being the freest country in the world, which we are.
this is a ridiculous statement. i read this board and i see people completely unaware of how fricked up and broken this country is, unaware of how dumb, dangerous, and destructive we are, that thinks the world hates us because of how awesome we are and that we "might" be in real trouble now because of obama and hillary.

our decline began a hundred years ago. our greed and imperialism led to endless war mongering and selling the government piece by piece to whoever wanted to buy it.

the dye is cast, we went over the edge a very long time ago, stop bickering over nonsense and start focusing on that.

Because Donald Trump doesn't stand for it either. He wants to shut down the freedom of the press i.e. The First Amendment.

Have you read this board or listened to what Trump has directly said?
