I tested many last year. For me personally, i chose the Mavrik and haven’t looked back. Every guy in our group uses the Ping and i wanted to like it, i just couldn’t.

In before “go get fitted”

Can’t go wrong with the mavrik or new epic speed if you like callaway. You’ll like both of those better than the rogue

It cracked or you cracked it?

Callaway may replace it or at least give you credit toward a new one

Only if, it cracked.

OP, they're all what and what.

I went with the Ping G410 LST and like it. Hit a few others and SIM2 has a pretty cool sound. Cant get along with twistyface. Best bet is to go hit a few at a demo day or store.

I’ve heard good things about the Cleveland Turbo.

PXG 0211 is another economical option.

Sub70 has some options.

I think anything current is fine as far as the clubhead goes, what is really important with driver is shaft options.

There are about 6 things that can be dialed in, and that helps more than any particular clubhead ever will.

Sort of, just have to be careful as a lot of stuff is very draw biased

Well, if you want the best fitting to your swing, going get fitted is the proper answer.

I'm firmly in the go get fit camp now. I used to be in the "that driver looks cool, I'll try it" camp.

Now you have every major manufacturer with 2, 3 and 4 different driver heads, all with multiple lofts, weight settings, face angle settings and shaft options.

There's peace of mind in having someone that knows what they are doing find the driver/shaft/weight combo for your swing that hits on ball speed, launch angle, spin and dispersion.

Or you can go eeny-meeny-miney-moe and pick one of the 6 different Callaway driver heads out there.

It's your money, do what you want.

Had a buddy with a Rogue that cracked also. That's odd. Callaway did recently replace it for him so if it's a normal use crack, Callaway will make the right decision.

Having said that, I have the TSI2 with a Diamana shaft on it. Never realized how much I was fighting my previous Ping driver until I got this driver.
