We have a condo in Alys Beach for a quiet getaway soon.

Anyone been recently? Mask situation? Are things closed due offseason? To go drinks allowed?

It's our first time in that area.

It was wide open in September. Like nothing was even going on. Didn’t even need masks at the restaurants

We live part time in Miramar Beach, as of mid summer, no masks, no closures. To go drinks? Just walk out with your drink, no one stops you.

You never even knew COVID existed this summer. I felt the death stares when I wore a mask to get my takeout.

Maybe some things, but most restaurants should still be open.

Not sure. Instacart delivers booze to the house in FL. We also brought wine from home.

Not sure when you are going, but it should be good. Everything open, but less crowded. As others have said, the Panhandle almost resembles pre-Covid America.

That is why we chose there...we were hoping for some sense of normalcy and sanity.

Caliza pool at Alys is a good place to eat in an outdoor setting, assuming it isn't too cold.

We were in PCB at the end of October and only the servers in the nicer restaurants and a few Karens were wearing masks.

We’re pretty much business as usual here. Walmart and Target encourage masks but no one else really cares.

Can anyone recommend a rentalcompany? Looking on VRBO and not finding quite what we want.

13+ people .. not sure about final number right now.

Would prefer ON the beach .. I'd just as soon go to Perdido and walk down the boardwalk to the sand but party prefers elsewhere.

You’re sort of unicorn hunting on 30a.

Maybe Blue Mountain Beach?

Was just at Alys. Basically wide open, 2019 style life. Some people choose to wear masks and some retail places want you to wear one inside. Restaurants at full capacity.

ETA: New restaurant at Alys called The Citizen. Good place.
