Trained legs last night and to finish

We did 4 wheeler pushes.
One guy 220ish sat on bike and steered while other pushed, Light pole to light pole about 40 yds.

We did this as fast as possible 5rnds each.

Was fun and frinkien taxing at the same time. I think this will be a regular in our workouts now.

Scale to 135.

DT is a bear and 135 will still be challenging.

I went all the way down to 115. I'll try 135 next time, but man...my grip.

I haven't been all week, I'm not super sick and feeling bad but I have some nasty chest congestion. Don't want to pass it to others & working out with chest congestion just makes it worse.

Started wearing a myZone HR monitor last week. I enjoy it so far. Nice to see heart rates and how I feel. Some days I can power thru for a while in the mid 90s sometimes not.

I have had four workouts with one so far. Today I just wore it for a 15 min am rap and cool down on the bike. Showed 444 cals and90 MEPs

Highest cal burn was last Friday at 901 with 160 MEPs. High measured heart rate so far has been 177. At 50, that is about right for my age predicted max.

Anyone else wearing the monitors?

He should get credit for Grace at the same time. That was a weird move.

Muscle snatch with a clean grip all the way.

Finally back in the US from Ecuador and wanted to hit the class workout. Due to work and this last trip, I've made one workout over the last 3 weeks.

Today:
5 RFT
800M Run
30 KB swings 50/35
30 pullups

Nah... I'm good. I'll lift today.

Missed Wodapalooza for the first time in 5 years, but I had an 11 hour layover in Miami yesterday and made a trip to the No Bull store, Joe's Stone Crab and South Beach during the stop.

Picked up these WZA Themed trainers:

I've missed 2 entire week's of WODs now. Started with this terrible cough and lung congestion the week before last and by Monday I was running a mild fever. Fever broke yesterday but I still have this shitty cough. I considered going do some lifting today in the spare room but I don't want to get anyone else sick. I am hoping by Monday I'll have this cough finished and can get back at it.

Did today..

1st WOD in 19 days.

A) EMOM x8: 3 thrusters 115/75 & 7 TTB
B) FT: 30 box jumps 30/24, 40 goblet squats 50/35, 40 medball squat cleans 20/14, 30 burpee broad jumps

Scaled everything down, 95 on the thrusters with a mixture of TTB and v-ups, and did 20” box jumps since I shared a box with my 14 year old.

Another two parter today..

A) 9 Min.. M1: 10 heavy goblet squats, M2: 16 alt front rack lunges 95/65, M3: 25 wallballs 20/14, repeat x3

5 min break

B) EMOM x15 15" row sprint

Part A sucked. Initially it was supposed to have a min rest at M4, but it was removed. Had the 70lb KB, 95lb lunges and 20# wallball.

Part B was surprisingly easy. I was able to maintain sub 1:40 on most of the 15s. I was usually around 1:32-1:34.

Back squat for a

B was

10 reverse lunges w 135 in back rack
15 box jumps
20 cal row

5 rft

B was a mental toughness exercise. We took it from the ground. And that first transition to back rack was rough

My first WOD in 2 weeks.

I'm gonna be so sore

I did it green kettlebell (not sure what the weight is on it), 65lb lunges, and 14lb wall balls. And I shaved some reps on the last round because I was just gassed and couldn't keep up. Had a nasty stitch and my lungs were on fire.

Averaged 1:50 on the rower, did not sprint.
