re: Mississippi Sewage Treatment system - Contender01
Is there any reason you can't use a regular septic tank? To me, this looks like it's an "activated sludge system" designed to treat to a level where you can discharge to surface waters or where there isn't sufficient space to install as traditional septic tank and drain field. You may not need that ...

re: Mississippi Sewage Treatment system - Contender01
Cost is $1,515.00 approved in Louisiana, but they will not state if approved in Mississippi. I understand no one will care with it being rural, but from what I am finding out at this time. Once I call for power and water this will be looked into. At this time just doing some research to figure o...

re: Mississippi Sewage Treatment system - Contender01
this will be a rural area. Reading the specs on this unit it says "Approved by the Louisiana Department of Public Health and Hospitals as defined in Chapter 13 of the Louisiana Sanitation Code as a Limited Use Sewage Treatment System" I could not find one that said the same for Mississippi, t...

re: Any gym owners or former gym owners on this board? - Contender01
Almost like having a bad arse home gym, because you are never waiting for equipment or laying down in someone else's sweat. You aren't worried about meathead in the corner grunting and dropping weights to get attention, or being hit on by some stranger, or people there just to take selfies while sit...

re: Any gym owners or former gym owners on this board? - Contender01
Been there done that, after 6yrs had to walk away. The biggest thing I learned is that you as an owner will also need to be the trainer everyone follows. If this great trainer leaves and goes with you, what makes you thin he will not do the same in a few months/yrs. And where does that leave yo...

At most we may be able to hunt 2 or 3 stands for the weekend then will need to give the place a break for a few or more. just sitting here thinking I bought the land building the camp, making sure everything is setup and comfortable st...

re: Double Ladder Stands - Contender01

If we kill a hand full of deer great. And as for as how many stands I may end up with a dozen or so. Of course...

re: Double Ladder Stands - Contender01
I agree 100%, on box stands but the way the land lays out and its so thick, I don't think box stands will be the best bet this year. Being we own the property I will be adding Box stands at some point. But this year I plan on going with a few ladder stands and ground blinds. Millennium is my ...

Double Ladder Stands - Contender01
Like to start by saying I have never been a fan of Ladder stands, the only ones I hunted in have been the cheap academy types. And they suck. Earlier this year My dad and I bought 56 acres to call our own, this is a heavily wooded thick chunk of land. My plan for the upcoming season is to use a ...

You said you both have Jobs. And only owe on the mortgage. why not invest some of the 400k, save the rest for emergency. Now take what you and your wife is making and pay extra the principle. This way you still have cash if needed, you have some of the 400k making money and still can be debt fre...
