Today..

A) 8x8 Back Squats across 1 min between sets
B) 15 min total: Work up to a heavy power clean and then hit 10 at that weight.

A) 225
B) 185

A) 135 (I went a bit light, still feeling beat up from Saturday)
B) 175 (Did not go light on this.. after that squat session i was feeling good and warmed up). Last few reps felt like shite so probably looked like shite.

Those squats really affected my cleans. Stopped at 185 and stayed there.

A.) Bench Press 8 x 5, Rest 1 minute

B.) Partner WOD

For Time:

100 Renegade Row Push Up (35/20)
200 Double Unders


A) 135lb

B) 13:08. I did plank shoulder taps (i can't really do renegade rows very well because I can't maintain the plank). Scaled to 200 singles for me

Today was one of the kind that makes me remember I enjoy Crossfit.

A. 5 rounds, 3 min each. 5 back squat and a 200 M run, rest remainder.

B. 12 min AMRAP
10 goblet squats 53
8 Burpees

Got 8 rounds plus 1 and was happy.

simple and effective. The way it is supposed to be.

I can do renegade rows all day, but my partner started struggling after we hit 25 total reps and we eventually started you go I go (1 rep) around rep 60.

Managed to link sets of 20 DUs 3-4 times in the split 200.

My legs are fricking trashed from yesterday. This is going to be me tomorrow..

I struggle on renegade rows. My shoulders are too weak to keep that plank position and to row with weights.
I started on 10lb renegade rows but the kurling was ripping my palms up so I switched to shoulder taps in a plank position

95 lb snatches with a 100m run between.

What did I do to my foot? About an hour after a workout I was sitting at home and suddenly the bottom of the arch of my foot started hurting. I had a pretty large knot develop that was similar to a large pencil under the skin across the bottom of my foot. I iced it down and the pain mostly subsided as did the swelling. The next morning I woke up and I had a large bruise visible on the bottom of my foot on the arch. I am guessing I burst a blood vessel, idk.

It has made my afternoon very very sleepy. That was ALOT of volume. I finished 530 of the 600 reps. Needed about 3-4 more minutes

So DT. Not sure how to pick a weight. My Max clean is like 195. Not sure I can complete all the hang cleans at 155. Advice?

This one was fun

Workout of the Day

10 minutes to get a starting weight on the bar
then
Every 90” x 10 Sets:

1 Power Clean + 1 Hang Squat Clean (Increasing weight)


I started at 115 and worked up to 175. I did 3 sets at 175 because that was absolute max, I was having a hard time getting out of the squat clean.

Today was floor presses, but I got caught on the phone with a work issue and missed all but a few sets. Did 60 lb dumbbells

Then a

1k row
3 rnds of 10 TTB and 10 burpee
1k row.

13 or 14:06, I cant remember.

Scale to 135.

DT is a bear and 135 will still be challenging.
