I didn't go yesterday bc of work, meant to go to today but I stubbed my toe like a motherfrick this morning and pretty sure it's broken.

I'm still extremely sore from Wednesdays leg session.. like beyond sore and into real pain.

I am at the point that if I have a couple of days off and my body actually feels completely fresh then I have a tendency to go too hard in my workouts and really make myself sore. It's like I am not alive if I don't feel something when I move.

Yesterday:

Morning-
5 rounds:
500m row - working on holding a steady pace throughout
10 box step ups
then
Backsquats &
Barbell lunges

Afternoon:
3 1-mile runs with 2 min rest between - trying to push the pace and working on getting ready for some 5ks.

30 KB Swings 70/53
15 DB TGUs RA 50/35
30 Strict TTB
15 DB TGUs LA
30 Goblet Squats 70/53
15 Strict Knee to Elbow

Slow.. 25:44

Started Rx on the TGUs and eventually scaled down.

The DBs are a little different than KBs. The 50s started getting away from me after 10 and I decided to switch to the 35s.

Blew through those 5 in a row.

We used to do tgu all the time. People did em like shite and bitched about it. We don’t do em anymore.

I have to miss today's workout as Tigerdeacon Jr. has to get the rest of his baby teeth pulled this afternoon:

800m run
50 burpees
50 cal AB
50 burpees
50 cal ski
50 burpees
50 cal row
50 burpees

When I told him the workout he said "You're welcome for getting to miss that because of me."

I did something to my left arm that may keep me on the bike for a while. Hurts like shite on the pinky side near the wrist with any clockwise rotation. Devil's presses yesterday really got it going. No idea what it is nor what started it.

15 Cal Row

10 Front Squats (135/95)

5 Box Jumps (20)

*Partners start at different stations and complete as many rounds as possible. Partners will score separately.




Well .... that hurt a lot. I did 95lb squats. I got 7 rounds + 23 reps.

Interesting EMOM today. I am guessing I will start losing pull ups reps due to out of breathness very quickly.

A.)Deadlift- 6 sets of 5 reps ascending in weight

Special WOD today. 10 year anniversary of Geaux coming up and they had photographers and videographers in the gym, so there was a LONG WOD for the shots.

A) 4x5 Back Squat (I did 205)
Rest 5 min

B) 10-8-6-4-2
SA DB C+J (I used 50lb)
Burpee box jump (20" for me)
Rest 5 min after all completed

C) 2-4-6-8-10
SA Devil's press (I did 50lb)
Box jump overs
Rest 5 min after all completed

D) Teams of 3, for time, one partner works at a time
100 calories row
150 wall ball (20/14) I did 14lb
200 DB snatch (50/35) I did 35lb



Yowza. Took nearly 2 hours to complete it all

Tweaked my back late Thursday and gutted through yesterday’s workout at 6pm.

Glad I skipped today. I’d be hobbled for 3-4 days.

Yeah my body's pretty thrashed

I felt like shite about an hour after. Dunno if my blood sugar crashed or I was dehydrated or what but it sucked. Cold sweats, diZy. Happened again a few hours later.

I liked the vibe in the gym on Saturday, though. I might wanna start going
