I’ll occasionally buy an afternoon cup during the week because the office coffee is bullshite.
I don’t splurge on a lot but I consider coffee a daily luxury of mine.
Own Nespresso machine, pour over, and drip coffee machine. I like coffee in many forms and fashions.

which blue bottle coffee do you prefer
I get the single origin and they just send me a different one every month, usually a light or medium roast from a specific farm in Africa, Central America or South America. If you want to order off their website, a good one to get is Three Africas.

Get a coffee grinder and make your own. Better than anything you will buy.

I buy coffee out about 4 times a year, at most. And that's when I am traveling.

Blue bottle is good stuff. There’s a location near us and I really enjoy their cold brew.
I mostly use my French press at home or my nespresso if I just want a shot. But in the summer I tend to buy coffees out more often because I enjoy a good cold brew when it’s warm out, and I can’t seem to make a good one myself.

Never had a sip of coffee in my entire life.
Coffee stunts your growth and yellows your teeth.
Only unmotivated people drink coffee.

Yeah, if you want the closest thing to coffee perfection, get a pour over from a blue bottle shop and drink it black. It’s expensive but worth it. I paid $6 for a cup last time of coffee from Burundi and goddammit if that wasn’t the best cup I’ve ever had
At home I bought some cold brew filters and have been experimenting with cold brew

Nespresso
Those have always interested me. I'm guess you either have to get the pods at a Nespresso store or order them from the vendor or amazon.

Cafe Bustello, basically Cuban Espresso, for $4/vacuum sealed half pound bag from any grocery and I do it in a Cuban Coffee Pot on the stove. I have one at home and one at work.
You're a smart man. Grew up on cuban coffee

Make my own and this past year I dumped the Keurig and went back to old coffee pot. Coffee just tastes better. Starbucks can eat my whole arse. I’ve never had Dunkin coffee.

make my own coffee. I buy espresso.
This.
Is it worth the time, effort, and price to purchase and espresso machine?

I don't know what you mean by time and effort - a Nespresso takes no time or effort whatsoever.
But as far as price, if you drink enough espresso you'll definitely end up saving money in the long run.

I have a basic drip pot and grind whole beans for each batch. Whole setup, grinder and pot cost less than $30. I am very adventurous with what beans I buy. The freezer has 6 or 7 pounds of different types. Its quick, cheap, and the only way to fly.
That being said, most of my coffee is consumed at work, especially during the week. I convinced the office to switch from the God awful Cafe Especial to River Roads and it has been a big improvement.
Like several have said, I only drink coffee out when I am traveling or there is a strange situation.

I grind my own beans and I make my own coffee. It's a ritual for me. Super hot pure water (not from the tap either) and my own ground coffee. Use one of them fancy French Press Coffee Makers. I find it produces a rich robust cup of coffee. I like that.
