Any of you guys try this place out? Gonna be in the city tomorrow during the day and am thinking about grabbing lunch and beers here with some friends.

Yeah! A NOLA restaurant thread I can actually participate in.

I went a few weeks ago. Its a standard biergarten. The food is pretty good. The beer is really good.

I had the schnitzel and would recommend it. If you are really hungry, there is a plate with gravy and potatoes. I forget the name of it, but it's GOOD!!!

If the sun is shining, it's a great place to chill. Be warned, there is not much room inside to sit at all. If the weather is shitty, try somewhere else.

Its very good. Servings are huge, and they will let you sample some of their brews so that you can determine which one you like best. Nice outdoor patio, also.

I haven't been, but it's right next to Pizza Delicious, which is fantastic.

Love it, great beer and sausages. Picnic tables, cornhole, etc.

Another hidden gem is the Deutsches Haus, the amount of German beer they are pouring is insane. Tons of Spaten, Ayinger, Paulaner, Franziskaner etc. They also have some German and Austrian wines, and a limited menu.

Has the new one opened yet? I knew they were building a brand new, badass location in Mid City, especially compared to it's old dingy place in Metairie off Airline.

Pork Schnitzel with crawfish/sauerkraut sauce is legit.

Appreciate it. A former company I worked for built it and the plans looked awesome.

This might be my favorite place in the city to grab a beer and something to eat.

Staff is super friendly.

It's tasty. Pretzels baked on site, good sausages, good schnitzel. If you're in that area on a Sunday, the schweinhaxe (skin-on pork hock) is delicious.

I rarely eat at Bratz, simply because I am almost incapable of being that close to Pizza Delicious without eating there.
