I still can't believe the Tigers went Final Four in 1986. And they led mighty Louisville and Denny Crum by 8 at the half!

What a team!

I have that Kevin Faulk SI signed by him and Gerry DiNerdo.

I remember picking up a copy at the Union a week after that Florida game.

Just imagine if Nikita Wilson had not stopped going to class. He would have eaten Pervis Ellison alive and we would have a NC banner hanging in the assembly center.

Don Redden is one of the best players to ever wear an LSU jersey.
grew up next door to him in town and country in Monroe. He was out there every morning at 530am bouncing that damn ball and shooting hoops.

Lynda and Levy were good people too.

In high school I thought Don Ursry was better than Don Redden but had the pleasure of being at LSU at the same time as Don and watching that magical run.

We had so many colorful players back in the 80s.

The Faulk one mostly because I was a young kid and LSU football being on the cover of SI was mind blowing

The 03 JV cover was also pretty sweet
