If I were BabyTac I’d be saying “don’t give a shite about being that guy…I won a $1000”

I brought my own Sig Sauer .45 to a work party at Laser Tag and was quickly arrested. I suggest that you don’t bring your favorite clubs to the work party.

If you bring your own clubs and get beat by someone using the stock clubs, you’ll get made fun of relentlessly

It’s sad how many of you act like $1000 is a lot of money

I mean I'm not trying to be ot-baller or anything, because I'm not, but this is my reaction. 20 years ago sure I'd have been studying wind patterns and migratory bird paths around the venue...but now? Dude just go for fun and quit being a buzzkill.

With what clubs?

If you brought yours, congratulations on being the office douche.

If you did it with theirs, you let your skills do the talking.

Let me add….

I like golf, and have had the chance to play on some fabulous courses around the world.

The most humbling and impressive thing I have ever been involved in on the golf course goes like this….with my boss at the time…

“So, you two fricktards think you’re some kind of golfing duo?” Referring to myself and a coworker.

“Yeah man, you wanna play with us?”

“Yeah, you two assholes can scramble, I will play with my kids clubs- kid was 8- and we’ll go to the local 9 hole in town- good luck.”

Dude destroyed us, and it wasn’t even close.

I respected him professionally beyond measure- but that feat of athleticism was unreal.

Bring your driver, pw, and a 7 or 8 iron. Carrying a full bag seems a bit much for office party.

Why would you need driver. I can hit their shitty 4 irons to the back net

Their balls are definitely minimum distance types. After getting dialed in it seemed to be 2 clubs off esp for the longer targets. I got an old ProV out of my bag and hit the top of the middle net with driver and didn’t really crank it. Their balls would take one bounce or barely reach the bottom of the back net after nutting it.

Definitely bring your driver unless you have an 80 mph swing speed. Then you’ll be fine

I suck at golf, but if my company was having an employee bowling night and was giving a cash prize to the winner, I don’t care if it was $1000 or $100. I’m bringing my own balls and shoes and make sure I’m winning that prize. If someone beats me using house balls, I deserve to be made fun of

If you are that good and the only one that plays and you are the only one that brings their own clubs and you win huge, that’s kinda douchy imo.

This is that loser mentality they've been pushing on us for years.

Winners win for a reason, and the lovers sit around bitching about a winner doing what it took to win.

frick those lovers, op. Get that money!!!

To 99% of the planet, that is a lot of money to just win.
