Bump for episode 3.

Really good this week. The car chase scene was really well done. Glad to see their leaning in to the hearing aid more. Can't wait to see where it goes next week. I'm glad the villain is the guy from Better Call Saul. He's so good.

Was listening to the Sweet Gingerbread Man in the credits. Wow, I forgot how good Sammy Davis Jr's voice was.

He became such a caricature of himself, and that was reinforced by all the impressionists/impersonators. I may have to go down a SDJ rabbit-hole today.

The first two episodes are a bit of a letdown. Acting and characters are great, but the pacing seemed choppy at times and slow at times.

Not really into The Swordsman being a full on douche.

The entire LARP thing seemed out of place.

Hoping it gets better.

I'm loving this show so far. I'd put it ahead of FATWS and What-if.

That car-chase scene was great.

I don't know much about the the whole tracksuit mafia, but I have a hard time taking them serious when one of the dudes was seeking relationship advice.

I’ve loved it.

Is the uncle they keep referencing who I think it is?

Sounded just like D’Onofrio to me.

It is if they are following the comic book source material...

Barton and Bishop have no business being an interesting duo, but three episodes in, their mentor/mentee dynamic has been great.

Credit to Renner and Steinfeld.

Yeah, it's gotta be Kingpin, right? Makes too much sense. Teasing a mysterious big-time organized crime boss. Who else would it be in the MCU?

Is the Daredevil show non-canon now? Because at the end of that show, Daredevil took Kingpin down pretty hard.

Did we ever get confirmation on this? My first response was yes, but I'm not sure I remember reading anything official.

Either they make daredevil part of another timeline, or they allude to Fisk regaining power and influence in the chaos of the blip. That would be the perfect setting for him to thrive.

The Netflix shows, Agents of SHIELD, and Inhumans are all pretty much non-canon. I assume they will be mined for all the good bits and pieces and folded in via the multi-verse.

Thinking more about it, the only reason Fisk was even taken down was because of the looming threat from Matt of legal charges against Vanessa. Imagine Fisk‘s rage if she disappeared from the snap. She tempered his rage somewhat, but with her gone he’d be quite a force.

I can think of a sadder version of this.

Wilson Fisk is snapped out of existence by Thanos. Vanessa, distraught, takes her own life.

When Fisk returns, since he was legally dead, the charges no longer apply and he is a free man.
