Yeah there’s apparently OU “insiders” with “sources” that say this was all part of a master ploy by Riley to generate more recruits to OU. The truth of the matter is they don’t know shite and neither does anyone else. Him keeping his name in the LSU running provides him no help in recruiting whatsoever. They said this because of his weak denial in interest in the job to help themselves sleep better at night. For whatever reason they’re playing this off as if they’re so much smarter and 3 steps ahead of other elite programs. Meanwhile they haven’t won anything if significance in over 20 years and the last time they played LSU Joe Burrow shot a massive load inside of them.
