Are all restaurants in NOLA requiring vaccine cards to enter? It's our first trip down there in a while and wasn't sure if they are really checking for them.

It’s hit or miss whether it’s actually enforced

Like anything else, some do some don’t.

Some look and don’t actually check ID. Some (less and less) check ID and the card or LA Wallet.

Serious question:
How many patrons go to restaurants only because there is a Vax mandate?

Someone I know got a test once, took the computer spit out form they game him, scanned it in, and just changes the dates and prints it out again whenever his friends drag him into NOLA.

I couldn’t imagine actually showing my private health records just to go out to dinner. This is the most absurd thing I’ve ever seen that people are ok with this

Haven't been anywhere that is checking them closely. Even fewer are wanting to see them at all.

If you are worried just make sure the name matches. Of all the people carrying fakes I haven't seen one caught yet.

Couple weeks ago my father in law just flashed an email on his phone and they let him in. He goes "hey look what I showed them as my vaccination card lol". It was an email from his gastrointestinal doctor.

I’d just avoid NOLA. Let it rot

They don’t ask for vax cards if you’re only there to rob the place

I just don’t go out anymore. I know if one place that doesn’t check. Obviously I have heard others ask but you can show a blank paper and will let you in. And others want to see front and back of your card.

If you are going to bow down to the dumbass mayor then frick you. If you ask a single person their medical status I hope your business goes under.

Went to Revolution and Carousel Bar last night. We had to show proof at both places

This may be an issue for me come Christmas.
I refuse to bow to proto-fascist "papers please" to sit down and have a meal.
Yet half my NOLA area family are Branch Covidians. I've played nice and not injected my opinion so far, but I just can't do it. Will suggest somewhere in JP, but the most culty authoritarian of them will probably refuse to eat anywhere that doesn't require papers. You know, because the streets of Jefferson Parish are lined with dead bodies of Covid victims.

I’m heading down this weekend

I’ve been vaccinated but wife and kids haven’t (wife’s antibodies are still high). I set up an appt this morning for COVID testing at our local CVS. They went this afternoon and I got the results within an hour. Testing was free. Just show the negative results and you’re clear

I went to the House of Blues Monday night. They made sure that my PCR test name matched my drivers license. Now it would be very easy to duplicate the digital form and change the name and date if you wanted to.

On one hand, I think I've only been asked twice to show proof of vaccination when dining inside at NOLA restaurants, and one of those was an icecream parlor.

On the other hand, more than once when it was a close decision, I've consciously chosen Jefferson Parish restaurants over NOLA ones because of this nonsense. Fortunately dinner at R&O's doesn't cause any suffering!
