It's comical how bad you don't want LSU to make a big hire at this point. And I can 100% guarantee once a hire is made you will say one of two things, depending on who it is.
1 - mock Woodward for missing on the massive name
2 - trash Woodward for spending a lot of money to get a big name.

Yeah, I wouldn't exactly hold his information in high regard. But Feldman's sources on the LSU side aren't as solid as they use to be...considering his source is LSU's current, soon to be deposed, head coach. I could be wrong, but I doubt the AD and his department are keeping Orgeron in the loop on the coaching search.
Whatever Feldman is reporting is likely coming more from Oklahoma "sources". Those sources very well may be right. But Feldman's info as to LSU (outside of whatever might be going on in the last two games) is no longer rock solid

JBoy, I believe, has legitimate connections inside LSU's admin and also knows an Oklahoma coach (not that they'd know what is going on).
He isn't pulling this out of no where. I think it is still status quo. The contract is on his desk, OU is trying to sway him not to sign it.
