Max is a 3rd string QB in a starter’s body

Worst Alabama team since Mike Shula. But Jimbo will be a great coach if he’s the man.

And 70% of our starters are out and they still damn near won.

If anyone has watched TAMU past few years Eiko should be getting Jimbo's salary because he's the reason they often win games. Today is actually a great example. Where would Jimbo be if he didn't make this hire a few years ago?

1) You have to question why they were not starting?

2) Maybe teams should play kids that give the effort, rather than audition for the NFL.

Jimbo lost his starter in the first game and he’s got his replacement playing pretty good now. I’ll take Jimbo his DC and recruiting ability over some unproven coaches.

They are also better than moral victories.

No, Jimbo would be a very good coach/above average, but no way in hell could he SUSTAIN a dynasty like Saban did at Alabamm. LSU should have been that dynasty, and if LSU finally gets the right young, motivated guy, we can still achieve that dynasty during our lifetimes. I'm certain Jimbo _ucking Fisher is not the guy that can deliver that.

We can do much better, and it is imperative we do much better.

That looks less impressive at this point.

It would be one hell of a meltdown if/when LSU, with it’s depleted roster and lame duck coaching staff, beats Jimbo to end the season, only for the Woodward to announce shortly thereafter he’s committed $100k to perhaps the most overrated HC in the last 10 years

I’d take Jimbo in a heart beat for 100k. That would be one hell of a steal.

I have to admit that bama simply isn’t an elite team this year.

Tennessee played them tough, we should have beaten them, they lost to Aggie….they’re nowhere near what they’ve been.

Hats off to our depleted team for outplaying them last night.

If our coach wasn’t mentally retarded, we actually would’ve pushed them to overtime at least

'Member when this Bama team has a close game with UF as well?

We all thought it showed how good UF was? Well, now it shows how bad (for Bama) this Bama team is

There is such a gap from georgia to everyone else. Bama may lose to auburn.
And yes, jimbo’s offense is unimpressive
