BF5 was great, got it with PSPlus and got hooked on it.

I just saw a leak that has all the BF3 weapons for every BF3 class available in Portal.
I mean...I mean just when I think I'm done and this game is trash, I reconsider.

I think its just for team deathmatch and one other mode

Negative, at launch is Conquest Large, Conquest, Rush, TDM and FFA.
Portal has fully customizable servers, you can use any guns on any of them in any combo you want (ex. BC2 guns on BF1942). You can even tweak bullet drop, health regen, headshot damage, etc.
Portal is an open world fully customizable type experience. It's gonna be big.
It's also getting updates alongside the regular BF2042 updates so we'll be getting new old maps from 1942/BF3/BC2 over time as well.
The new jackfrags vid has more info and gameplay from portal than I can give or explain
Not sure I've ever seen so much freedom allowed to a player, it's pretty badass. Literally endless possibilities for the community.

What the hell is going on with the actual time the game is going to launch for PS5 players with early access? EA has released the times for PC players but not for console. We are a few days away and still know nothing.

The only thing that bums me out is it's only a couple maps from each. And I think it's only deathmatch and free for all modes as well. I need some conquest and more maps
