DeSantis is NOT a RINO. Have you not been paying attention over the last year and a half?

Some people in this thread are like I stated in another.

quote:

Yep all of the Trump can't win is nothing more than the week minded people who don't want to face what happened.

They want to act like it didn't and "turn the page". That leaves it there for the future.

That meaning the cheating.

No and this is the problem. No one wants to get in a battle with Trump at that stage because they know it's a loser but you have to consider primaries=/= general election.

It's the same issue the Biden/Bernie tickets had before the dem establishment jumped in to push Biden forward over Bernie.

If dems had remained sidelined then Biden loses SC primary and NEVER becomes the nominee and Bernie does. Then Bernie would have been ROUNDLY slaughtered in the general election.

You know what Republicans have that dems didn't have in that scenario? An actual candidate worth a shite. Where the dems only had corrupt old man Joe then Rs can deploy Ron DeSantis who is an alluring candidate all on his own.

The Rs have to form around a new identity, NOT Trump.(An identity Trump was crucial in establishing). Stop centering everything on Trump or this will die just as quick as it lived. The democrats are too scary right not for us to frick around with this. It's not worth it.

Trump will be 78 when he runs. That's too old for me. We need a candidate that can get 2 terms of office.

Trump destroyed his opponent in 2020. He couldn't defeat those who cheated with the mail-in votes.

If Trump hurts your feelins, keep voting Democrat.

To Democratic pussies, I'm sure he probably is.

Virginia had over 960,000 mail-in votes in 2020. Trump didn't lose because he hurt cuckold men's feelings, he lost because Democrats cheated via mail-in.

You guys better start building back your safe spaces because Donald is coming back.

I don't disagree with your mail in statement. I'm very interested to see the total of mail in votes for NJ and VA vs 2020.

I disagree with your approach to folks whom you need to vote appropriately. You won't get it that way. I'm floored how much people want Trump, not Trump policy. I don't give a shite who is governing, as long as they are governing with Trump policy.

Some on here are making a grave mistake. They’re starting to listen to the MSM propaganda that “Republicans cannot win with supporting Trump”.

NEVER take a progressive’s advice on how to win.

I am not taking the media’s advice. I just think that DeSantis, Ted Cruz, and Rand Paul are better candidates than Trump in 2024. Trump will be 77 on election day in 2024 which is how old Biden was on election day 2020 and Reagan was when he left office. It’s been confirmed that Reagan had Alzheimer’s in his second term, and we all see how Biden’s cognition is declining. I don’t want a President who is approaching 80. Also Trump is still extremely negative amongst women. If Trump won unless he had a majority in the House and 60+ loyal republican Senators he won’t get anything passed. He would be a 4 year lame duck and the country doesn’t need that. I love to see Trump win after having 2020 stolen from him by a lot of factors, but his time has passed.

Trump didn't lose because of pussies with hurt feelings. Those folks are called Democrats. That logic is just dumb and a MSM talking point.

Moderates and Independents didn't reject a mean tweeter for a child pedophile. Trump improved his numbers. Democrats simply stopped counting and manufactured the mail-ins they needed.

The COVID cover is going to be gone for 2022 and 2024.

We learned that suburban moms and suburbs will NOT TURN OUT FOR TRUMP.

The Rs can OWN if they get rural areas + suburbs.

The rural areas will never come out for milquetoast Romney types, so you need a culture warriors like DeSantis to bring them home. That's the point.

You seem to believe Trump is the only one capable of bringing the heat on the cultural front. I'm saying you're wrong.

Also, the Republicans must still stay connected to reality. Focusing too much on culture can put you in the place the democrats now occupy which is focused more on race/gender studies than everyday life necessities like food, education, shelter, energy, etc.

No, tonight proved we need DeSantis. I think now Trump would win if he’s the nominee, but here’s also the thing: Trump will not win Virginia and would likely just have the same map he did in 2016. DeSantis though I think right now is competitive basically in every state that is not on the Pacific Ocean. Republicans swept Long Island and a write in candidate for mayor in Buffalo nearly won for God’s sake, which means New York is on the table if we play our cards right. Stop blowing the Orange Man. Trump is a risk, DeSantis is an ace in the hole.

I would rather PT in 2024, then DeSantis in 2028 & beyond. But whoever the Republican nominee, even Leo 2.0 will get my vote since this country is a two party system, but in reality a uniparty. But at least when the republicans are in control it’s not batshit crazy legislation…

No, he's not. Trump is just as electable as Desantis. Trump was winning in Virginia before the counting halted.

I simply don't understand weak men who get hurt feelings over Tweets. I bet you got crushed in school anytime you heard a "Your Mom is so fat" joke.
