I don't think you understand the talent difference in these 2 teams. The Giants overachieved.

I understand it perfectly. But this isn't a sport where there are so few games that they fluked their way to a division championship because they got hot for a couple of weeks.
After 162 games they beat out the Dodgers to win the division, beat the Dodgers head-to-head in the regular season (10-9), and set all those league bests and franchise records.
All that to crap out to that same rival in the NLDS.
Just because their pre-season expectations weren't as high doesn't mean they weren't massive underachievers.
