When I watched the movie last weekend I was surprised by that. I knew the woke mob would go nuts.

Approaching this with logic, if he was really homophobic he would pass on murdering gays out of fear of AIDS, which is transmitted through blood. The fact that he murders them is actually proof that he is not homophobic.

30 years ago, they would have never had a gay couple in any movie, let alone a horror movie. Now gay people are in movies and shows regularly, and they’re pissed because a gay couple gets killed in a movie about psychopathic killer who kills indiscriminately?

In the character’s history, he has killed numerous people in his way who tended to be hetero of either gender and attempted to kill kids more than once. Scenes where he DOESN’T kill someone he has the opportunity to, such as an old woman at the start of the original Halloween II, are the exception rather than the rule.
Now that a gay couple appears in a Halloween film and gets killed, he is suddenly homophobic?
