If millions of Americans all rent from the same huge Corp, they can control them - ie raise rent on unvaccinated, or those with lower social media scores - don’t think right according to them. Just another step in the fall towards communism / totalitarianism.

I've wondered this exact same thing but further downstream. So this model they have of perpetual renters looks great but after 10 years, shite goes to hell in a hand basket with roofs, a/c's etc. Not to mention the liability of people suing etc. But the feds, namely Section 8, have immunity in a lot of these exposures. So I was always curious if Blackrock has the feds as a silent partner ready to morph it into Section 8 or something like that downstream.

I personally don't think Blackrock is buying up all sorts of properties to "control the populace". It sounds to me like they just want to make money.
All this nefarious talk about control and whatnot sounds almost identical to what black people say when previous ghettos see white rich folks moving in.
