Not being Lake Charles.
That appears to be enough right there.

Old money Shreveport looks down on errbody, including Uptown Nola bluebloods.
It’s ridiculous how self righteous some of these people are. The sad part is they’ve never lived anywhere else and think it’s a huge deal to take a weekend trip to Dallas.

Is Moss Bluff a town or community?
If it's a community this 'poll' dosent apply

I don’t know that I would ever use the word “snobby” to describe that dynamic, though.
Yes, I believe the Cajun French word for snob is "avocat"[AHVOHKAH]

Is this a bad thing? If this is your measuring stick then nothing can come close to touching New Orleans.
Yeah, I guess Nola people are up there, but they're not insecure about it

It’s like Welsh was the only town in the area they missed.

Most people I come across from North La seem uppity with their above sea level attitude. I had a friend that moved up there and tried to get a job at some pool supply store and the owner told him since he smoked (cigarettes) he wouldn't hire him because It was looked down upon at the church he belonged to.

The Caddo Pine Island field has produced more than 400,000,000 barrels of oil since 1905. After 116 years new money is old money.
