First, let's look at the definition of a snob. When we Googled it, this is what came up:
a person with an exaggerated respect for high social position or wealth who seeks to associate with social superiors and dislikes people or activities regarded as lower-class.
a person who believes that their tastes in a particular area are superior to those of other people.

Most of the responses were probably from people who have never left Lake Charles. They just "heard" that a city was snobby.

Not true. The people from NOLA who think they are superior to be living there are not from NOLA and will likely move away within the decade.

The only one I can agree with is Lafayette. So may people there have a strange amount of pride of their hometown. They're very insecure
