Question should not be do we offer. It should be WHO do we offer?

The talent on campus needs to doll up and get to work.

If he gets fired and O loses to Kentucky, warm up the podium.

Has there ever been a situation where a coach gets hired from outside the program and steps in mid-season to actually coach a game? I know it would be a shite show, but I'd like to see it if only for the entertainment value.

I really can’t wrap my head around the people saying emphatically they don’t want urban Meyer at LSU

Like the second best coach in college football the past 15 years and LSU fans are turning their nose up at the notion

Mind boggling

I don’t think so, I think he’s done

He’s already admitted to hating recruiting that’s kind of a no no here.

If he’s in college next year I’d bet USC, just an easier path for him at this stage.

So many reasons to say no.

Don’t know that I would be able to say no though

But I don’t think there’s anyway possible both sides would be up for it. LSU for PR reasons and Meyer because I think he takes a break. Just like he’s done the past two times.

I have a good feeling this will be Woodward's number one target. I expect him to throw crazy money at him

Absolutely not. The second he gets blown out by Saban, he'll have another medical issue and we'll be without a coach. All we'd be doing is inviting more drama. It'll also take any coach a good 2-3 years to really get this program back on track and I don't think Urban would be here that long. We'd probably be left in the same spot we're in now. It's pretty clear that he isn't that interested in coaching anymore anyway. We definitely don't want to pay someone else mega dollars to come in here and do a half-assed job.
