I'd be more excited if we were getting the TG16 games we could buy on WiiU. A lot of those Sega games are on the Genesis collection.

frick Ecco the Dolphin. I don’t think I ever played the original but I did have the sequel game on genesis. Had no idea what to do in that game.

Banjo kazooie is a pretty good sign that we'll see some more rare games, but I'm thinking goldeneye chances are pretty low. God knows what kind of licensing is involved with that game.

Chances of Goldeneye may be low but it means Blast Corps, Conker, and a ton of their other games originally published by Nintendo are possible.

That is a horrible take

This is just a blatant cash grab.

I think Microsoft and Nintendo would need to come to some sort of agreement for this to happen.

There are more parties involved than just Microsoft and Nintendo. The two are already working together given that Banjo-Kazooie is coming to the Switch.

But with Goldeneye, and the Bond IP in general, there are like 3-4 other companies involved. The game will never see the light of day again in the form of an official remake or remaster.

Why shouldn't they charge money for an online service that gives access to all their classic games?

When it comes to the Goldeneye game? I don't think that's true.

Ion Productions is likely tied into any licensing (new or renewal) of a Bond property. And they have had their own legal issues over the years.

B/c they already charge for access to those games.

It's not like their setup for online gaming justifies the cost of the subscription. It's worse than what both the Wii and WiiU had and those were free. The only thing that makes their charging for it acceptable is the games that come with it. Upping the price for N64 and Genesis games is a joke.

Really is a solid N64 lineup, we need WaveRace, Diddy Kong Racing, Conker and maybe Jet Force Gemini and Turok to take it up another level.

My only problem with this announcement is that it's not available right now. I want to play Ocarina of Time, beat it then play Banjo Kazooie.
