Bet $100 that old crusty bastard could find anything in that stack in under five minutes.

I thought the headline was going to say “body discovered under paperwork.”

shite I'm anxious just looking at it.

My office is spotless. I can't work in a dirty environment

The American flag sticker on the filing cabinet is a nice touch.

Callahan Auto Parts, a Midwest automotive parts company, handles all of its shipping and receiving orders with a paper system just like that.

No way in hell. I have a coworker (not this bad) lets things pile up like this to make it look like he is way busier than what he actually is.

That's just a man that doesn't throw shite away. One of my reports had been in the same office for 20 years and went on LTD. It took me two days to clean out his office due to the sheer amount of shite in it. Textbooks from 1979, paperwork from the 80s. Equipment that hadn't been used in decades.

Exactly. My desk is close, but the rest of my office is better than that, that's how I'll put it.

I took over a role for someone who had been at the same desk for 35 years. Tons of paperwork from the 90’s and old equipment. Had to completely clean it all out. No need for paper records or 80’s calculators in today’s world.

I would never agree to go on TV if that was my office. That is completely embarrassing.

There are times when my desk has a lot of S&IPs on my desk along with other shite, but the more I do it eventually doesn't look as messy, but its at least an organized mess.

This dude's office looks like it used to be a closet.

That guy looks like he could be that place's "Milton" and they stuffed him away in an old storage closet instead of the basement.

A friend of mine, now dead about 8 months kept his office like that and it was said he could find anything he needed in short order if asked.

I was called upon by his out of town sister to do a welfare check on him when she hadn't heard from him in over a week, which was odd since they were very close.

I discovered his body in his house and was shocked to see just how he lived since I'd never been inside his house before. He could have been featured on the show "Hoarders" as an extreme case.

About a week later there was a crew there to clean out the place and they were actually using those wide snow shovels and just shoving stuff in heavy duty trash bags to be brought to the dump. Not much was saved as it was all covered in filth. The cleanup crew said they eventually removed over 50 bags of trash from the 6 room house.

I'll never understand the mentality that drives people to live like that and think it's OK.
