I would take Bech simply for a play that he didn't even catch.

D Smith caught a lazer over the middle and Bech came from 20 yards behind at full sprint just to throw a block to get Smith 4 extra yards.

Raw talent Gilbert is unmatched. But he’s a head case and bech seems like the ultimate teammate.

Absolutely, I would rather have Bech! But their talent is not even close to the same level. Arik Gilbert is one of the most naturally talented TEs that has ever been on planet earth.

Talent is wonderful, but when you don't give a shite, and are lazy, it's meaningless.

It’s time to move on from Gilbert. I honestly feel for him and hope he finds meaning in life.

You are a moron. In no world is beach better than Gilbert.

How about the world where football is a team sport and some players can inspire their teammates while others can act like prima donas that cause the coaches to coddle them and destroy team morale? Comparing the physical abilities of 2 players is only one, of many ways to evaluate them. Go back and look at the 2015 HS quarterback prospects and tell me which one of the 14 players ranked ahead of Joe Burrow would have gotten of the turf after being blindsided and turn a double digit deficit into NY6 bowl win. Character counts.

Someone may have said this already, but here we go.

Gilbert seems to only want the glory and reportedly refused to want to do the "dirty work" like blocking and learning how to produce without the ball. This program has always had WR's that took pride in this dirty work and it seems hose same individuals are the ones who have been successful at the next level.

Coincidence? I think not. Gilbert looked to be a locker room cancer and malcontent who was only worried about himself. Bech looks to already have this figured out (he also is a legacy, so he gets it), so I'll take him any day over Gilbert.

When we we actually see Gilbert on the field for GA?

Bech is really fricking talented

It’s amazing that being white makes some people think it’s all work ethic and not raw athletic ability

Bech is a baller. Its obvious he loves to play the game. Sometimes you can just tell who REALLY loves the game and who just plays cause they have the ability.

One play Bech ran 30 yards down the field, full speed just to throw a block for another WR. Can’t imagine Gilbert doing that.

Gilbert cannot do that, he does not know how to block.

Didn’t Gilbert quit football? Some secret crap he had to work through.
