Anyone else seen this? I’m pretty sure it was dead. About half of its body was on the shoulder and half in the grass. Looked to be at least 8ft long.
Eastbound I-12 about a mile before Robert exit.

How long it been there? I’ll go pick it up and skin it.

Sounds like any day of the week in South Louisiana

A dead gator on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere in Louisiana hardly seems worthy of a thread.. especially without pictures of said gator.
But at least it's not about Covid.

I remember after Katrina, the I-10 stretch between Paris Rd and Irish Bayou was full of dead gators and hogs...
One hog was so big, it looked like a dead bear.

There was a gator in a Walgreens in New Orleans last week.

bruh. drive through Pierre Part from the Sunshine Bridge to Morgan City. You can pick up a dead gator on the side the road every single day.

I wasn’t about to pull over, back up, and take a pic.
I’ve lived here in SELA since ‘89 and it’s the first one I’ve seen on the interstate.

I saw one on my way back from mobile on I-10 westbound in Slidell a few days after the storm. Was just chilling on the side of the interstate

Gonna need a crane truck to recover the body.
RIP
