You can't blame Seltzer. If I had to go through life with everyone's first thought when they look at me being "pedophile," I would make up reasons to feel good about myself too.

IIRC, didn’t Rudy demand they push back the mayoral election so he could finish the recovery and step away instead of leaving his successor to deal with it?
That’s leadership.
They had to anyway. September 11 was the election.

Network TV anchors were "the closest thing that America had to national leaders on 9/11. They were the moral authority for the country on that first day," especially with political leaders in bunkers or otherwise out of sight... LINK …

Y'all shouldn't shite talk the poor guy, he's got a medical condition that he can't help. I don't recall the exact name off hand, but I know it has something to do with an overabundance of estrogen.

he should be taken out into the street and horsewhipped. This potato headed POS needs an attitude adjustment.

The NYC mayoral primary was originally on 9/11 not the general election. IIRC Rudy (who was term-limited) wanted another 3-4 months added to his term.

Yeah, for the most part it's a bunch of self important douchebags who think the world would be lost without them. They're only leaders of one thing: fake news. There are some who can do their job without bias, just reporting stuff without adding their own opinions but it's a lot less.

I would seriously pay good money to watch the eunuch Stelter throw himself in front of an oncoming train.

Yeah, Dan Rather real hero. Was fired months later for being a piece of shite.
By the way, speaking of pieces of shite, I do think it’s worth your time to listen to Howard Stern’s 9/11 broadcast. While people like Rather were filtered and flustered, Howard and his audience over the air were brutally honest during that day. He was supposed to wrap up in about 15 minutes, but he kept his show going on for hours and stayed on the air giving people (particularly in New York) a place to vent. I’m serious when I say that this might be the most important piece of radio ever aired and should be preserved in the Library of Congress for future historians: YouTube
EDIT: the video I watch annually and had tens of millions of views has been taken down. Sorry Howard if you don’t want that out there calling to murder all Afghans and their families, but here’s the thing: everyone in America was saying that that day. Honestly nothing to be ashamed of, and you were being honest that day. All the more reason it should be preserved in the Library of Congress so Howard can’t bury this (and I mean this non-ironically) jewel of footage.

It’s sad what Stern has become today. A shred of his former self.

This is historic radio and excellent, but it also shows how far Howard has fallen. He's right up Kimmel's a-hole now and wants to be loved by Hollywood.
He's also all about vaccine mandates and hasn't left his apartment in almost 2 years

That was when CNN and MSNBC didn't have N agenda. I remember CNN was on at every Military Command Center, now nobody trusts their coverage.

I’d love to write Howard’s obituary. I’d make it 20 pages with tons of praise and criticism towards him. I think I’d be very fair to him since I find Howard to be a fascinating figure, unlike Jimmy who I just find to be disgusting. While I enjoyed Private Parts, I do think there will be a great movie about Howard Stern a few decades from now after he’s dead about his Shakespearean rise and fall.
There’s no doubt he helped out freedom of speech on Limbaugh’s level (which I admire about the younger Howard), but unlike Rush, Howard fell, and fell gloriously. Any honest obituary of Howard will have this as the final two sentences.
“In the end, Howard became what he always despised. He became Don Imus.”

I want to add something about Jimmy Kimmel by the way, who has fallen less far from heights than Howard but gloriously fallen nonetheless. The only thing, and I hate using this word, I still admire about Jimmy is he refuses to stab Adam Carolla in the back. Jimmy at least is clearly a very loyal person, and the fact that I admire a lack of betrayal in him says how big of a scumbag he is in every other facet of his life.
Howard though has absolutely no sense of loyalty and is now deprived of any redeeming characteristics. He has repeatedly stabbed those closest to him in the back. If Jimmy turns on a dime and suddenly starts agreeing with Adam, then Howard will quickly toss him to the curb like he has everyone else in his life who has dared question him. Jimmy is actually known in Hollywood to be a very good and generous boss. In other words Howard Stern has become Howard Hughes.
