Black Folks and Covid

My own personal analysis is that black folks are marginally more afraid/masking than white folks yet they aren’t getting vaccinated at a high rate. Have y’all noticed this?

Every black person in SC that I see is masked all the time. It's hilarious and sad to watch. You'd think given their distrust of police and law enforcement they wouldn't swallow the Covid bs.

There seems to be an simultaneous reliance on, yet mistrust of government among black folks. I’ve heard a lot of, “I don’t trust no virus! I ain’t gettin sick! I ain’t takin no damn shot!” while happily presenting their WIC card at Walmart.

The last vaccination stats I read about a week or two ago showed less than 35% of black Americans have been vaxed……that’s why Whispering Joe isn’t mandating vaccinations for government entitlement recipients.

I understand but the Dims can’t afford to lose the black voters yet. If this tyrannical regime mandates vaccinations for government entitlement recipients they will surely lose the black vote in the 2022 midterms.

I notice a relatively even split in my neck of the woods in Louisiana. Possibly tilted toward masked, but not by much. I can only assume that of the ones I see unmasked even standing right next to another who's masked, they've made a decision that some bullshite is afoot.

This Last election.. media, all Democrats, our establishment, universities and k-12 schools... convinced millions of black Democrat voters that the government is out to get them...and is always plotting against them. Only way to help them a little is to vote Democrat.
Now the government is demanding they inject shite into their bodies... It's not surprising that a lot of black Democrat voters are a lil paranoid when it comes to the vaccine.
Honestly.. if every 4 years, most of society is driven by massive propaganda campaigns that tell me that the government is trying to get me, because of my skintone.. I'd also be a lil paranoid. Why the frick would I trust a racist government that is actively trying to get me?

We were the white folks at Six Flags tonight, I bet we saw less than 10 people wearing masks.
We did see about as many forced off a ride because they were too fat for safety bar or harness. On one ride, an entire family couldn’t ride, including a kid who was no more than 12 but huuuuuge.

About split. I’ve seen plenty of folks of both colors wearing masks religiously at the grocery store, yet looking at the food in their baskets, they seemingly have no worries about their morbid obesity and likely cardiac issues, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabeetus.

You’re not thinking politically. By raw numbers there probably are more whites on welfare, but this isn’t about color, it’s about votes. As a whole welfare votes are going to Dems every time. Biden clearly loves to piss people off and be combative, but he’s not about to piss off a big chunk of his base. White, black, purple, whatever, the Dems win the welfare vote.
