Just curious..
Due for my second pfizer dose tomorrow and thinking about bailing.
I wasn't too keen on getting it in the first place,
but the wife already got hers after her job pressured her.
Then I started hearing more stories about healthy 19-year olds dying from it.
Then I figured you'd eventually need it to get into sporting venues, and fly and cruise.
So I gave in and went get it, then started regretting it the next couple weeks.
If I only got 1 dose, does it mean only half my organs will fall out my arse in a few years?
Pretty dumb imo, but people make dumb decisions every day

It means that all of your future kids will be trannies -- but only if they go to public schools.
If you get the second jab, you will not have any more kids.

Got my first to get into restaurants and bars. Seriously doubt I get my second.

But apparently a large group of people still haven’t grasped this simple concept

i reluctantly got the first dose and then got covid 2 weeks later. Covid wasnt that bad so i use that to justify getting the first shot. I dont know that i want or need the second shot

Like why don’t they trust the doctors and experts whenever it comes to other sickness and disease?

I'm a person that doesn't believe the vaccine will kill you and doesn't believe vaccine side effects are worse than COVID. I had COVID and it sucks for some people....some have better reactions.
What I want to know is how a vaccine got EUA by the FDA largely because of an efficacy of preventing disease at or around a 95% clip. However, now we are seeing that efficacy is approaching closer to 50%. The FDA has mentioned nothing about this....they haven't updated their efficacy numbers to reflect that. They were fricking wrong and they aren't taking any responsibility for it. That's where my concern lays. On top of that the FDA fully approved Pfizer even though the efficacy had dropped severely based on real world use....how is that possible? The scientific data got worse for the vaccine yet it still get fully approved. That tells me something fricky is going on in the background that us lay people aren't being told.

I never got my second dose. Got my first dose in January
This has more upvotes than downvotes.

All valid concerns.
I got my two dose regimen completed back in April.
If we knew then what we know now (regarding efficacy) I'm fairly certain I wouldn't have gotten it. I sure as shite ain't getting no booster.
Thanks.
I know OP sounds dumb as shite.
But judging by replies I'm not the only one who got cold feet or didn't see it necessary.
Also dealing with cleanup from Ida tmrw, I'm not even sure how rescheduling the second dose would work

Just hearing all the conspiracy shite from my friends and FIL
So this is a conspiracy that the whole entire world is in on? So hospitals and doctors are lying about who is really sick in the hospital on vents?
quote:
I'm 29 and healthy
This doesn't protect you. I know multiple 30 somethings who were healthy who are hospitalized for months. Sure, you're healthy are chances are good that you are fine if you catch it. But the chances of you ending up hospitalized with COVID are certainly greater than the chance of you dropping dead from the vaccine. Do you really think that could be kept quiet if so many were?
Think logically here!

No usually, but can at least confirm this 19 year old that he knows that died from a vaccine even existed I guess.

So you hear one supposed story and that freaks you out?
Yet hear numerous stories and cases of people that were otherwise healthy dying of COVID and that doesn’t worry you?
I'm pretty sure he was saying that a 19 year old dying from Covid freaked him out and was one of the reasons he decided to get the vaccine.

I think it's the opposite. HE's talking about a 19 year old dying from the vax

You should probably not trust 99% of physicians but….
If you have a friend who’s wife is a nurse you should absolutely trust her with all your medical decisions
And if she hears any more stories please let us know so we can all do the same
Now if I hear of anyone who gets sick from
Covid then I guess I’ll have a decision to make

There's evidence you would be better off delaying the second dose for a few months.
