It’s all the things. All of them.

At first I didn’t know you.
Then I came to love you.
Now I no longer recognize you.
What’s worse, you’ve alienated me.

I’m done. I’m out. I will not be party to this abomination.

Don’t tread on me.

They really are. While I don't find your ramblings to make much sense in service of your overall point, having dealt with this university as a student, employee, and alumni, it is incredibly clear that they not only give a shite about their students and alumni, but hold them in contempt.

They don't want me, so they won't be getting any more of my money.

What you say is true.
I’ve unsubscribed from all LSU email.
I ignore the calls from the 225 area code asking for money.
And it’s not anger. It’s loss of interest which is worse.

A lot of people haven't realized how true this is and how bad things could become really, really, quickly.

The university is fighting wars on multiple fronts. Almost all of it is self inflicted. They have alienated a significant portion of its fan base due to COVID protocols. It has alienated another portion of its fan base due to wokeness. It is fighting scandals within the Athletic Department. Most importantly, those in charge who support the leftist agenda care more about that agenda than they do the well being of the school and certainly athletics, so every decision will be towards creating more of a divide vs. solving these issues.

You see it on this very board with fans who care more about winning the COVID argument than they do the damage it is doing to the university.

Honestly, I think it's past the point of no return.

If the team would have won last night this thread would not exist. The football team lost the game on the field last night, simple as that.

Just remember that worrying about politics too much is a dead end street.

Colleges have been liberal and progressive for decades now. Vote for who you like and be done with it.

The media machine, most certainly including conservative media, wants you to be angry and consume their product 24/7. That, my friend, is what you should boycott.

I’m a TGBFTL alumni from the late 80’s. I absolutely love that organization, LSU football and the university. Over the past ten years or so, the Band has been completely marginalized to the point that they won’t even bother to send a Pep Band to a huge road game.

The Band has been through multiple directors since Dr. Wickes retired and they refused to promote Linda Moorehouse into the job that she earned and was must qualified for.

They play piped in music over the band during games and they ban certain music from being played.

The quality of TGBFTL has sharply declined in recent years.

My Son is finishing up his college education this semester at UF. I’m glad he went there instead of LSU.

As if you’d even qualify for college, padna. Keep up the hard work on that GED though. LSU will be okay without you.

Agree.

If you really want change, then it's very simple. Don't go to any games.

Yall have fun at the new Corporate Tiger Stadium. The Coliseum will be full of Pump Lumps, MA's, (Mediocrity Acceptors) Wine & Cheesers and Corporate Give Away's this week.

They'll be drunk and be back on here after the game with the "We're Back" BS after the Tigers beat the hell out of McNeese.

As an Alum, I'm in with the OP. I want no part of it and will not set foot in that stadium until there's a regime change........

Just a thought!
Can you imagine, after 2030 the plan is to have all electric powered vehicles. No fossil fuels available.
Then another disaster, hurricane, blizzard, or fire.
No power for vehicles.

Honestly it's like the perfect storm for LSU athletics or more so the LSU football program. You had all the loss of revenue last year due to covid, you alienate the majority of your fanbase and ticket holders with both the BLM woke shite and then the mandatory vaccinations or negative tests. Then to top it off you have a dog shite head coach that looks to have the football program on the decline that also has a 21 million dollar buyout.

Bad times right now. The attendance is about to be terrible.

I predicted that UCLA was "fixing to feast." It was just a sense and feeling that the LSU team was not ready to go.

Tulane was ready to go and came to play, even in a home game that was converted to a road game. You could sense that they were ready to fight ... and they did.

From the coach down, LSU just didn't seem like it was ready for the game.
