With a 97% reelection rate... why should they? From their perspective The People must love them and what they do. We keep reelecting them again, and again, and again...

I actually don’t think we keep re-electing them again and and again and again.

I gave you an upvote because I know where you're coming from.

But, Jan 6 showed government is terrified of us.

Those pussy bitches cowering.
Pathetic excuses for "men".

You serious Clark?

Incumbents win 98% of the time. The average is 4 terms in the house and 2 in the senate. The worst and often the dumbest members have the longest terms.

70 members of the House have been there over 20 years,
16 Senators with over 20 years.

Au contraire Mon Ami! The government IS scared of us. Take a look at Australia. That is what they hope to be. Never give up your guns!

You didn't get what he is saying - yes, they are winning but not through what we think of as the election process (hint - biden did not get 81 million votes).

He definitely misinterpreted it but to think that every election is a fraud is absurd. I don't think any rational person would believe that.

A healthy government is supposed to be and should be scared. Scared of elections and scared of revolt. It's their only form of accountability.

January 6th was far from an insurrection. It just shows you the extent of our representation's fear and cowardice. January 6th was nothing more than rambunctious protest resulting in minor vandalism. Parts of this country dealt with much worse than that with half assed government opposition in the summer of 2020. The Capital building and the empty suits inside were faced with a fraction of the protests and danger of the 2020 summer protests that the commoners endured then cry like pussies and cowards that they are. Don't ever feel sorry for these clowns.

If government doesn’t respect it’s populous, it will, eventually, come to fear them.

We won't vote our guys out, because the other side won't vote their guys out. And besides, my guy is a good guy, he brings home the bacon to our state/ district

....if only in Louisiana this were true..the bacon part. It would justify constantly re electing people like Scalise....and I like Scalise.

97% reelection rate and a consistent sub 15% approval rate. It's completely bizarre

I think the point he is making is "Election Insurance" racket. How many are truly elected by the people?

I would not have believed even "most" until this last election. Now, I am not sure we even elect mayors and city councilmen.

We have to get the election systems truly fortified for the people, not the thug oligarchy.
